ARABIAN NIGHTS @ 45th STREET THEATRE

Hello Everyone! Just completed Directing/Choreographing a Production of a new adaptation of ARABIAN NIGHTS presented in Story Theatre for the Michael Chekhov Theatre Company at the 45th Street Theatre.

It was a success for me and I did 2 different casts that performed through the month of May.

I seem to be finding myself directing the same show of late with more than one cast as witnessed by my 6 casts of Little Shop. It is quite a challenge but rewarding.

I will now take this… Continue

Tonight was your night, Jack! I so wish I could have somehow been there to share your work as it hit the broadway stage. I am sure you were nervous, (as always) but proud as a peacock as it was being performed. I know you asked me to join your FACT group, but I was trying to figure out how I could do this from Minneosota. I still write, and I have original works performed every year here, but don't know how I could fit into the group you mentioned. Anyways, enjoy the night, smell ALL the roses, and try not to get to GIDDY!...take care, Larry

Saw your post on Facebook. Looks like Costumes and run-throughs are going great. To say that I am a little jealous is probably a little bit true, but I don't have the drive and courage that you do to perservere and wait it out until something good happens for you. Hope reviews go well, and the audience eats it up! It's probably different when you are author, choreographer, and producer as well...

Amazing how fast our lives change. I won't be able to fully retire for about 7 or 8 years to get the full pension from my teachers retirement. Of course, I am YOUNG enough that I need to work to 66 years and 7 months to get the FULL social security under the new plans. Don't think that will happen tho. Jane is on the upswing now, although the last 2 weeks since her knee surgery have been hell for her. I am sorry to hear about David's surgeries. I hope that the results have been thorough. I will keep him in my prayers. Jack, It's been nice to talk with you again, I know you are busy and excited, and feel honored that you take a little time for me back her in minnesota. Take care and may God Bless both You and David!

I just wish I had the money to hit the airlines and come out and see it live! Jane and I have married off 2 kids, Jane has had total hip replacement AND total knee replacement. All of this since OCTOBER. You can see our pocketbook is suffering a severe case of DEFLATION!!! (lol) Thanks for the shout back. Have fun for the next couple of weeks and let me know how thinks went..(I'm not sure if I want to tell you to break a leg or not when I read your Facebook posts) Anyhow.................Enjoy yourself!
