About Me:: I love Jesse l Martin and the whole cast of Rent!! I never got the chance to see the show on Broadway though. But that show opened me up to all types of musical such as Hair, Hairspray, Westside Story, and Dreamgirls. I can only see the movies because i live all the way in florida. But i plan to see alot of other shows later in my life.

My Favorite Shows:: RENT is #1 of course, but after that i'll have to say In the Heights, Spring Awakening, Sweeney Todd, Hair, and Lion King.

The Show I Want To See Next:: Rent on tour!!! But after that i'll check out In the Heights, Spring Awakening, and Wicked.

My Favorite Actors:: Jesse l Martin, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, and Will Chase.

My Favorite Writer/Composer:: Jonathon Larson, Lin Manuel Miranda, and Stephen Sondheim.

At 10:21am on October 24, 2008, Jeff Linamen said…: Unfortunately for me, Tamyra was one of my least favorite Mimis..... she might have been sick when I saw her, vocally she was hoarse and she didn't have a lot of energy. Adam as Mark was 'ok' on stage but I saw him at the end of his first week in the role. In the cinecast he was much better. Will Chase was wonderful onstage as well, I saw him a couple times. Love Eden.... I would go to see any show just to see her! LOVED her in Brooklyn she was AMAZING!

I saw a Mimi understudy that was amazing and the asian actor who did "honest living" and the waiter in the cinecast was one of the best Angels I ever saw---absolutely amazing voice. I think his name is Matt Kaplan was the very best Mark and my favorite character (and actor) Jesse Martin as Collins. Every time it was a different show and that live experience and the way the actors work as an ensemble has always been different. When I saw Adam Pascal in the original cast sing One Song Glory-- I thought I'd never see a more brilliant performance on stage in my life. I wish I'd seen Tracy Thoms live-- loved her in the movie and the cinecast. The show is just so brilliant and part of my soul.
