About Me:: Wow! Lets see!! I acted some in my late teens-early twenties... I did some community theater, Repertory and a couple of movie extra roles.. then I got married, moved to Atlanta, had a family, started working full time with kids of all ages.. and acting and singing went on the back burner for me.... I became the director and acting coach for youth== rather than on stage myself...which was so rewarding-- It is a pure blessing to watch youth come out of their shells and shine!.. but lately.. Ive been thinking about auditioning in the community again... we will see.. my daughter is interested in acting as well... we are moviing back to Indy where my acting "career' started.... all those years ago... I have been on worship teams and choirs my whole adult life! So, singing hasn't been as far away as acting has..

My Favorite Shows:: Well for TV--Pushing Daisies, Desperate Housewives, Regis and Kelly, The View. The Bonnie Hunt Show.... and all the entertainment news shows.. oh yeah-- Dancing with the Stars.. and I LOVED Mtv's Legally Blonde the search for Elle Woods-- things like that...

Gosh, for Stage... oh so many-- Wicked, Legally Blonde, The Drowsy Chaperone, Curtains, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia of the modern shows... old timers-- Annie Get your Gun, Chorus Line, Oklahoma, Barnum, Carousel, , Fiddler on the Roof, Sound of Music, Music Man.... too many more to name---- I LOVE MUSICALS!!!! the Apple Tree with Kristin Chenoweth!! amazing!!!!!!!

The Show I Want To See Next:: In Sept/Oct I saw Legally Blonde and 9 to 5-- I see Wicked for the 3rd time on December 20th- we are taking some friends to see it for the first time for Christmas!! yay!! I can't wait!

My Favorite Actors:: Matthew Perry and Hugh Grant-- wish I could see them on Broadway!!

I have to temper my involvement so I don't wind up away from the family too much. When you decide to get back into it and you get a part, I'm sure you'll be glad you did. It's located in McHenry but performs ten miles away in Richmond, IL. Two other groups that I've done multiple shows with are the Lakeland Players in Elkhorn, WI and The Good Company in Lake Geneva, WI. I'm hoping to audition in Woodstock sometime, but the timings of their auditions just haven't worked out for me yet.

I love all the songs you mentioned. And wats funny is I relate a lot to "Backwoods Barbie" exept for the part of growing up raged and poor. Other than that I am pretty much what it describes! lol Thats so amazing and no fair you got too see Legally Blonde on Broadway before it closes....I hate that i'm never gunna get to see it on Broadway. Its Last day is Sunday.... :( But yes I cant wait to see it again and to meet the cast and I will be singing the songs with the show!!!! lol Cuz I'm Ms. Doralee a backwoods barbie in a push up bra and heels lol. But I was sad cuz I couldnt meet the cast cuz I had to go back to the house we where staying at..... I was rily sad... but I told my dad we have to go to New York to see it again and so I can get signitures! Megan Hilty OMG I love her to death and she;s so darn tootin cute!!! SHe is a perfect lil Dolly and she nailed the part perfect!!!! I want to meet her so MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!
