About Me:

Tara J. Llewellyn is a recent graduate of Brookfield High School and has been performing since the age of six in over 20 productions at Walnut Hill. Her favorite shows include Joanne in Godspell, Kim MacAffee in Bye Bye Birdie, Sharpay Evans in High School Musical, and Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun. In 2005, Tara was a part of Stand By Me, a benefit variety show that raised thousands of dollars for the soldiers in Iraq. Tara performs the national anthem at many sporting events locally around the state. She has been in vocal training at AngelThorne Music with Erin Volpintesta since 2003 where she recorded her fist two demo covers of Pat Benetar's "Heartbreaker" and Queen's "Somebody To Love". Through the company, she has also performed at many local restaurants in the area. She was in dance training with former Aida cast member Noa Neve' this summer at Sportsplex Atheletics, and is currently in dance training at Broadway Dance Centre in NYC. Tara is attending Western Connecticut State University this fall to study Musical Theatre and Education.
