About Me:: Hi! I'm Samantha! But please just call me Sam :-) I'm just your average 18 year old teenager that is OBSESSED with Broadway! It is my *DREAM* to belt out an 11' o clock number at center stage and to tap dance like it's just an ordinary part of life. I love acting, singing and dancing, but when I'm not thinking of the *great white way* I am usually at rehersal, (heh!) reading,taking care of my frogs,or just hanging out with friends.

Who's in the mood for blogging?

Well, since I haven't gotten the chance to blog for a while (and am trying to avoid cleaning my room for guests later today! >.< ) I thought I'd take this opportunity to do a quick recap of what I have been up to since doing Les Miz before the New Year came and went!

Some heart breaking news for my drama club..

Since the beginning of this school year, it has been the rumor that everyone knew would be true, but nobody wanted to face the reality of it.. No past or present drama club members wanted to face the facts

Untill last night.

After more than 30 years of hardwork and dedication to our school's drama club, last night (April 7th) my director Mr. Shaffer finally announced his retirement.

Opening night of Les Miserables

Whew! What a week it has been for me!

Tonight is opening night for my school's production of Les Miserables! I'm sooo excited! I'm playing the role of Eponine, but since I am double casted, I will sadly not be performing tonight (but I'll be performing tomorrow night and next Friday night!)

Theatre's going well for once, my school did a little-known dorky play in the fall, I was the only Freshmen! It was pretty intimidating. I'm the Queen in Cinderella at a community theatre, and I'm so tired I can't see straight. My school's doing Fiddler this spring, I'm pretty nervous since not a lot of Freshmen are auditioning (to my knowledge) and I know I'll be written off, but my school doesn't cut people, so I'll get ensemble. I'm so excited! Fiddler was the first show I ever saw on Broadway. :)
