Hey thanks for that, it was really helpful. =)

So I know for tuition and room/board to go the FASFA route (doing it now and it's a beeyotch) and scholarshops... How do the scholarships through AMDA work? Do you audition and then are like, "Hey I need money!" (..not really like that, but...)

Oh and what about the other students there? I've heard most of them don't care to be there and don't work and they are the ones calling it "scAMDA" and such. Is it a bag of mixed nuts as far as talent goes, as well?

Sorry, I'm just trying to get all the information I can on the school... I need heavy backup to convince my parents that this is my life and that if I want to make it in theatre/television, I need to go somewhere other than state school solely because it's cheaper. =/

Soooo... I have a question for you, miss AMDA graduate.

I plan to attend there for, what would be, my two final years of college.

Actually, questions:

Would you reccomend finishing Arizona State and get a degree in theatre (my final 2 years are -like- a strictly acting conservatory, but not) or go with my plan? I'm an Arizona native and the theatre scene out here isn't what I want and my school doesn't have the training I want.

And. Can you tell me about AMDA's musical theatre program? The professors? I've heard casting directors don't take AMDA alum seriously...

Thanks!

peace&love

I know what you mean with the whole "People who actually know what you're talking about". My friends get so annoyed because I'm always showing them new songs and scenes on youtube! haha Well thank you so much for all your help! I am definitely going to be working toward auditioning in the spring! Thanks again! :)

ah! wow! You got me super excited! I would love to go there! It sounds like an amazing opportunity! How is the tuition costs? Was that rough or are scholarships very easy to come by? That's my main problem because my parents aren't very useful in the money department! haha! That's so fun though! To be there studying so hard about the thing you love to do with people that love to do it too! I'm definitely going to audition! :) Have you been doing a lot of theatre since you graduated? Are you working on anything right now?

Hey! Thanks for the add! I saw that you went to AMDA! I was going to audition this year but I'm still lacking on tuition money so I'm going to save up this year and audition again next Spring!!! Can you just kinda tell me a little about your experience there? It's all very exciting to me! :)
