About Me:

I'm Michael Walters, I'm an Equity actor located in the Orlando, Florida area. I am a 15 year member of AEA, and have had the honor of performing all over the US and Canada in this profession which I love. From Regional Theatres to National Tours, concert shows to Dinner Theatre, I have loved every experience.

Some of my favorite roles include Albin/Zaza in La Cage aux Folles, Tito Merelli in Lend Me a Tenor, The Padre in Man Of La Mancha, Nicely-Nicely in Guys and Dolls, Mr. Snow in Carousel, Luther Billis in South Pacific, Domina in A Funny Thing...(yes, DOMINA) Ben Rumson in Paint Your Wagon, Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof and many, many others.

I worked for Disney for several years - originating the role of Bruce the Shark in Finding Nemo: The Musical. I also spent 3 very happy years at Disney's Fort Wilderness as Six Bits in The Hoop Dee Doo Revue - the longest running dinner show in theatre history (35 years). I am currently in rehearsals for The Orlando GLBT Theatre Festival's production of William Finn's ELEGIES, playing the Michael Rupert track.

This winter, I will be playing Max Bialystock in the Florida Regional Theatre premiere of THE PRODUCERS for The Show Palace Dinner Theatre in The Tampa Bay area.
