- About Me:
- Lindsay T. Miller has had over 15 years of training in ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical/contemporary dance. She is a former competitive dancer and has won numerous first place and high-score awards at regional competitions such as Showbiz, Starpower and Starbound. She has previously studied at Broadway Dance Center and The American Academy of Ballet Summer School of Excellence. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in 2006 from Binghamton University, where she studied English Literature and Theatre. While in college, she was a member of the Binghamton University Dance Team and performed at NCAA Div. I basketball games, she was a dancer and choreographer for Children’s Dance Theatre, and she was involved in several theatrical productions with Hinman Production Company and Dickinson Community Players as an actor, dancer, singer, and choreographer. Lindsay has performed with various community theater groups throughout the Hudson Valley area and Connecticut, including Spotlight Theatre Productions in Westchester, 4th Wall Productions in Poughkeepsie and Musicals at Richter in Danbury. In early 2010, she studied modern dance at The Taylor School and completed a Development & Special Events Internship with Paul Taylor Dance Company in New York City. She recently taught ballet at Dance Expression of Dutchess in Fishkill, NY and hopes to pursue a Master’s Degree in Arts Administration/Performing Arts Management in the near future - or possibly become a theater and dance writer/critic.
