Yeah, I've noticed that two.
Like I got Sky Masterson in guys and dolls, I haven't gotten anything since.

Possibly Tiny Tim's Christmas and possibly Cabaret.

Crappy. I got glorified chorus, so I'm going to do backstage so I can save time, do another show, and most importantly learn another aspect of theater.

Basically, as I'm sure you know, in this business you need to be self-confident no matter what the situation. You need to believe that, somewhere out there, is the biggest lead ever waiting for you, a composer just waiting to write a song for you, etc.

Actors are known as "emotional athletes" to most people because of the journies we take onstage, but also off stage. We face competition, fear, rejection, anxiety, excitment, sorrow, anger; everything. But through it all, we need to remain confident in ourselves in our chosen craft and Art. Not a lot of people can do what we do and because this Biz is SO competitive, we all need to have an edge- something to make us stand out amongst each other. That included the knowledge, rear or not, that we will succeed.

As Shoshana Bean once said:

Haha yes, that is something I need to work on. Its good too know that I'm not the only one that struggles with self confidence =)
