- I love the theatre. Musicals are my passion. I was born with a skip in my step and a song in my heart. Too bad I am clumsy. The only songs I sing these days are Winnie the Pooh songs.
I am the mother of 2 Autistic boys. They are very musical infact my 2 yr old favorite song is Farajaca and he dat dat dat's to it. He does not talk yet but he hums tunes, he's even on key. A natural!
I am starting a movement to teach tolerance to kids, adults and anyone in between. The tolerance is for special needs kids, especially the kids with Autism (like my two). I would like to educate and open a forum for Q & A's on the school / public level and put all the questions on the table. The statistics from the CDC (2002) lists 1 in every 94 boys are diagnosed with Autism. Stats that were taken 6 yrs ago on 8 yr. olds. We are still waiting on updated stats including stats on toddler's. If anyone would like to talk email me.
