- About Me:
- Well, obviously since I am on Broadwayspace, I LOVE Broadway and the entire concept of musical theatre. I plan on pursuing a career in performance. I've seen sixteen Broadway shows (Wicked, RENT, Hairspray, 13, Legally Blonde, Next to Normal, Bye Bye Birdie, A Chorus Line, The Phantom of the Opera, Billy Elliot, Shrek, 9 to 5, Catch Me If You Can, Born Yesterday, How to Succeed, and Anything Goes), but I can't wait to see more and increase my knowledge of the Broadway stage. I absolutely adore musical theatre and it's a huge part of my life and will remain that way for a very long time.
- My Favorite Shows:
- I like basically everything I see, but my favorites that I've seen are Wicked, Shrek, n2n, Anything Goes, and How to Succeed.
- The Show I Want To See Next:
- The Book of Mormon, West Side Story.
- My Favorite Actors:
- SUTTON FOSTER, Jane Lynch, Kristin Chenoweth, Dee Roscioli, Rhiannon Hansen, and Haven Burton. Actors who haven't been on Broadway--Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion (from Castle)

- Alice in Wonderland (Caterpillar) and Hospital Hijinx (Nurse Goffer)

Most tourist in New York don't come to see musicals like Next To Normal.
Most likely they'll see West Side Story or something they've heard of.
I'm glad you're dad like it, some parents don't approve of the mature content.
But its good that you saw it, I've heard closing rumors =/

Next to Normal, in my opinion is one of the best original shows out there as of now. The good thing about it is it isn't the normal show, there is no happy ending per say. The songs are phenominal. I highly recomend it. The only draw back to it that I have found is that the message in the songs are almost exactly the same, but you have to listen to it for hours on ends to figure that out.
