I'd start just auditioning for local children's and community theater, especially if you're intimidated by auditions, I think it would be best to start off just building experience on stage and in auditions. But it's always important to remember that, at least for me, nothing comes of 90% of auditions so don't be let down if something doesn't come of it at first. So I'd say that once you build experience in other areas as opposed right at the top on Broadway, I'd start smaller and build your way up! Let me know how it goes, and break a leg!
