About Me:
Right now I make my living teaching theatre, but my long-term goal is to run a theatre company that combines my passion for developing new theatre, celebrating established theatre and educate the next generation of theatre artists. I want a place where I can write, direct and help others to grow artistically. Myself and my business partner, Amy Holson-Schwartz, have formed Festival Arts for this purpose.

As far as the things I do that don't make me money, at the moment I'm the composer of a new musical called Facing East (http://www.facingeastmusical.com) based on the play by Carol Lynn Pearson. We will be workshopping in Chicago this summer, and from there... who knows?

So instead of posting a topic for advice, I figure I'd come straight to you since you basically give the best advice on here from what I've noticed. So I auditioned for seussical- got nothing. I'm thinking about quitting and doing tech so I can expand my horizons in the theater and learn more before I leave for AMDA next year. Would you say that would be appropriate, or would the director most likely construe this as disrespectful.

Find great Theatre tickets on the secondary ticket market here. Look for Wicked tickets and Jersey Boys Tickets for established hits. Also find new plays, including A Steady Rain tickets or the latest hit, Billy Elliot.
