THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN MUSICAL

Hello Everyone!

Since my theatre company, Encore Theater Company, focuses on NEW and rarely produced musical works, i thought I'd launch a group on this topic. So - if you are interested, please join. Although I'm looking for all you composers, lyricists, librettists, and directors out there, the group is open to ALL interest in developing new work.

Hi, Mr. Brush
Bride of Uforia, my sci-fi comedy, has been accepted for publication by Eldridge Plays and Musicals (www.histage.com). This make 7 full-length published plays for me. I am currently putting the finishing touches on Glass Houses - 2 independent, yet connected, one-act comedy-thrillers that make up a full evening of murder and mayhem. It has not been optioned yet, I'll be sending the manuscript out to theaters soon.
I hope all is well with you.

Hey David, I posted a question on the "So where are all the new musicals" group. If you have a moment to check it out, I'd really value your thoughts.

David,
Please check out www.midtownFestival.org for complete details. Our deadline was Feb. 20, but we're still letting people in who are fashionably late.
Thanks,
John
