This is my story:
When I was born deaf, My mom's illnesss took my hearing away before I was born. At age 2 1/2, I was at Bellevu in NYU to get my surgery to get an Cochlear Implant by Dr. Noel Cohen. I was one of the first 15 kids to ever to recieve a Cochelar Implant by him. Now I'm 18, and is a senior in a regular high school. I can do many things like any normal people in the world. I can talk on the phone to my friends and I can listen to music on my ipod.

I wanted to theatre because one, I knew what was it like to be on stage after all those years of dancing. When I saw some shows Broadway like RENT back in August 4, 2007. It changed me in so many ways. My parents were skeptical about it and hated the idea. But I didn't want them to ruin my dream so I went out for an audition and got the chorus part in "Oliver." And another part of that situation, it goes to the one person that I really admire so much, Adam Pascal. Because when I saw him and Anthony back in August, he really blew me away with all those emotions that he had and his voice, it's amazing. By seeing him, I realized that I got to do theatre. It's hard but it is definately worth it.
