I just saw an off Broadway musical called Central Park and loved it.
My husband is playing woodwinds in the band. I must spread the word because it needs help with exposure. Try to see it during it's limited engagement of 8/1-8/17 Fri. and Sat at 8pm and Sun at 3pm located at the Drama Book Store Theater at 250 W 40th bet. 7th and 8th
call 718-253-1256 for res. $15 Please give review/feedback after. For more info about the show check this websites discussion group forum about it. Lots of musical singing and dance numbers which include some stories about some of the people that have strolled through and the history of Central Park

right now one of my favorites is Legally Blonde (I see you are a fan too...). Other favorite shows are Ragtime, Jekyll & Hyde, Wicked, Funny Girl, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Producers.
