Hey, hon!
I do go to MADA! I was in the Integrated Conservatory program, but then found it wasn't for me. The classes I had were:
Acting 1 Fundamentals (all programs required)
Voice and Speech Production (all programs required)
Musicianship
Ballet
Jazz
Tap
Dance and Movement (working as an ensemble; app programs required minus dancers)
Musical Theatre (a performance class where you're assigned songs based on your voice type and to really stretch you. (I thought it was pointless as I never got any notes on acting except "You have amazing instincts".))
Musical Theatre Film lab (you legit watch show clips and are quizzed/tested on actors/actresses/casting directors/producers/directors)
Individual Voice
The reason why I changed programs (now I'm in the Acting Studio), is because mostly I wanted more than just one acting class. I wanted stage combat, scene study, a Shakespeare class, working infront of a camera... All these aren;t offered for the Conservatory classes.
Also... I highly, highly reccomend before going to AMDA if you so choose, to do a few more academic classes over summer. English, creative writing, History... AMDA is strictly performing arts, sans the BFA which has English, but everyone I've spoken to said it's a joke.
Look around for other schools as well. I know AMDA says it's the "most prestigious school for performing arts", but... There are a lot of things that need fixing. Not wit the teachers as they truly know their stuff (Danny Gurwin of Little Women was my Musical Theatre teacher when I first was there, for instance), and care about you as a performer and really pushing you.
If you have any questions, let me know. :)
