About Me:

I have been a voice instructor at Northwest Florida State College (formally known as Okaloosa-Walton College) for over eighteen years and I teach Music Humanities along with my duties as the director of the Madrigal Singers. My Madrigals have performed concerts in France in 2005 and 2007 and will travel again to France and Italy in May, 2009. I was the choral director the Northwest Florida Symphonic Chorus from 1997 - 2004.

My past performances include playing "Mrs. Potts" in Beauty and the Beast, “Denise” in The Baker’s Wife, "Bet" in Oliver, "Jane" in Brigadoon, "Sally Bowles" in Cabaret, "Beth" in Guys and Dolls, and the "Narrator" in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, for which I earned a Stagecrafters Best Actress award. I was a featured mezzo-soprano soloist in the NFSO's April 2008 performance of Hayden's Lord Nelson Mass, December 2006 performance of Handel’s Messiah and April 2005 performance of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony and soprano soloist for the NFSO performances of Mozart’s Requiem, Carmina Burana, Verdi’s Requiem and Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors. I have been the vocal coach for NWFSC summer productions of Oklahoma, The Man of LaMancha, West Side Story, Crazy for You, Guys and Dolls, A Chorus Line, Into The Woods, Will Rogers Follies, Camelot, Annie Get Your Gun, Aida, Anything Goes, Gypsy and this summer's Beauty and the Beast where I am playing Mrs. Potts!
