Broadway Pets?

Is it just a thing on broadway for the actors/actresses to have pets? I mean Idina Menzel has her dog and 2 cats. Megan Hilty has her dog. Stephanie J Block has her dog. Allison Janney has her dog. Kristin Chenoweth has her dog. Orfeh and Andy Karl have heir 2 cats,and Autumn Hurlburt has her puppy. I means is it just a thing on broadway to have pets?

Angel As a Girl?

If ou've read my profile you know I'm a fan of RENT. My favorite chartor is Angel. But what I;m wondering is this: Can a girl play Angel? I mean the charator may be a cross-dresser but technily the girls would cross-dress at the beginning of the show. So Why not?
