I am obsessed with Broadway and musical theatre! I am SO happy I found a place where people share my interests because I know no one else who does! I have a dream to be on Broadway. It is a very big dream and a very hard one to fulfill. It is especially hard for me cuz I have no access to training or experience other than voice lessons and dance classes. But I plan on making it happen so, yea.

RENT is closing

well its closing and its incredibly sad. I will miss very much as i am sure others will. but I think we can all learn to move on with our lives. I mean really, it is just a show. I know its not just any show (believe me I know being a renthead and all) but i think what we can do is take away from the show is the feeling of hope and friendship and love. And Rent will live on in our hearts and in different school productions and stuff (and mabye possibly the tour :) ).

Hi Abby,
I made a film about the theater that I think you'll love. It's called Never Say Macbeth. It's the first feature film to take on the curse of Macbeth. In this supernatural comedy, a science teacher unwittingly says "Macbeth" in a theater and unleashes mayhem upon a troupe of actors. The chaos gets crazier when theater ghosts from past productions of The Pirates of Penzance and The Importance of Being Earnest haunt the actors. It's like Waiting for Guffman meets Beetlejuice.

Check out the rockin' trailer. The movie has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Heyy ... I live in England so i dont really know much about voices for Rent (please could you explain it to me) ... Im in a musical theatre group named 'Imagine Musical Theatre' ... (website www.imaginemt.co.uk i think -- its not very up to date though, weve done loads of things since then) ... were reli professional (if i do say so myself) and our Musical Director has connections with famous directors in NYC so were going over there in April of this year and were doing some stuff on Broadway and hopefully meeting up with some top directors ... hope that answers your question, please explain to me what Voices For Rent is cuz m obsessed with Rent and id reli like to know ... thanks xxx
