Congratulations to Wesley Taylor and Lauren Molina for making it on! They are talented performers, and quite down-to-earth. They deserve such a wonderful piece of noteriety. :D

This list is soo great! I would have loved to see Nick Adams on it though! He was amazing in both Guys and Dolls and A Chorus Line among other shows!! Plus he is from my home town : ) !!!!

Absolutely, this is One Great List, I admire all young people who thrive in this great industry. My deepest congradulations to each and every one of you, who keep the Broadway Dreams alive. You are all very fortunate individuals to be part of a competitive and demanding field.

I felt as if Michael Arden's composition talents should have been mentioned as well...

I was about to be upset about Karen Olivo but apparently she's 33. Wow, doesn't look it! Great list.

I'm depressed... where's Laura Bell Bundy? It's funny how her baby-sounding replacement made it on here... grrrrr. >:(

I love that both the original NY actor and the Studio Cast actor who played Peter in bare: a pop opera were on here, Michael Arden and Matt Doyle, respectively, both amazing actors. Also, he hasn't been on Bway in a while, and wasn't in necessarily the biggest roles, but his performance in the NY cast of bare makes John Hill (not Jon Hill), one of my favorite NY actors right now.

It's cool how many Broadway performers have had TV gigs this past year - and even more now thanks to GLEE. I think it's fun when people from our Broadway world do mainstream things. It gives non-theater people a chance to appreciate the actors we love so much!

As long as Lea Michele, Aaron Tveit, and Jennifer Damiano made the list I am 100% happy XD

I agree with the whole list! Congrats to everyone on it!

P.S. I just saw Josefina Scaglione two weeks ago in West Side Story and met her when we bought a cats signed Broadway Cares poster! She is SOOOO GORGEOUS!!!!

I think this is a great list. Broadway is made up of all ages, but I like that this spotlights those who are young and making their dreams happen. Sure some are kids, but they are part of it all. Adam Reigler is 11 years old, and he has two Broadway shows under his belt. That's amazing. I do like the idea of doing another list of Broadway new comers. That's a great idea.

I think a lot of the people that could have made the list more "diverse" aren't actually under 30 - Montego Glover, Karen Olivo, Deidre Goodwin, etc. I agree that Jon Hill is amazing, and so is Stephanie Umoh, but both are in their first Broadway show. Most of the people on this list all have done many Broadway shows, TV, and film. Maybe there should be another list of all the talented Broadway newcomers this season!

I have to agree with Lynn. The list is lacking in the diversity department and there are some greats on Broadway right now!
Lynn Baber Comment by Lynn Baber on November 18, 2009 at 12:43pm
I'm upset. Where's Jon Hill? Where's all the people of color? Too many people from Spring Awakening on this list. That kid in Addams Family isn't hot--he's a kid. The 3 kids from Billy Elliot are also kids. And there are 3 of them--they are individuals. Enough with the pretty blonde girls, too. This list just made me crabby.
