My favorite song from MLiaM(tM) is definitely "Life Without Musicals." I mean, it's so heartbreaking to actually think about life without musicals, and ironic that the song about having no musical is music...

My favorite song to perform is "Better than That (Reprise)" because it's fun to sing that with whomever is playing Rose, which I've only ever done it with Char, and then that once when I had to do it with Emsy, when Emsy stood in for Char. I love how it lets you know the dynamics of the whole performance and shows that Rose and Grace care about each other more than a stupid boy.

I do have to admit that singing "Casablanca in Carbohydrate Form" is really fun. I love spouting all those big words really fast. We had to work on doing that one for weeks! And now we use those lyrics as warm ups instead of tongue twisters. It's really funny, "I could guzzle wine, I could scarf bread, or I could watch Casablanca instead..." I can't help it; I just love it.
