Maggie part American Indian?

I saw Kay Cole sing "At The Ballet" on the Phil Donahue show (available on You Tube) and she appears like she might be part Native American? Also, she refers to her fantasy being an Indian chief. Thoughts?

I think the part doesn't require an ethnicity (sp?), though I've noticed that a lot of redheads have played her.
