When i saw 13 i dropped my sharpie over the baracade and Brynn had to pick it up for me..i was embarassed -.-. But then Aaron came out and he knew me from 13fans.com and he like, screamed HILLARY!!! YOU CAME! and it made me feel special. Allie and Caitlin also recognized me.

ANd this isnt at a stage door, but I met Idina Menzel at her Red Bank concert in March during her fan club M&G, and she got stuck on my sweater, but she was so good about it. She's sooo nice<3
9 to 5 my friend got her braces off and decided to tell Megan Hilty, Steph J Block and all the other actors how she got them off and then we had 5 minute conversations about always wearing retainers and other teeth business
When i went to see Next to Normal i went to walk past the Rock of Ages theatre and outside the theatre they had just finished putting up the new poster with Kerry Butler in it and walking past i noticed Kerry Butler, and Lauren Molina standing there. So of course I LOVE KERRY BUTLER(BIG FAN) i go up introduce myself and have a conversation for about ten mins and walked in the stage door with them and told them i had to get to go see Next to Normal and they game me their email address and i talk to them everyday and im going back with my brother for Christmas and they said we could have a backstage tour!!!!!!
Okay. Just got back from the opening night of The Addams Family (pre-Broadway premiere in Chicago). There were a lot of people at the stage door (I mean, Nathan Lane AND Bebe Neuwirth) and I was surprised, because I was the first one there but there were no barricades at all... seeing shows in NY you know this was shocking.

So Nathan Lane came out and signed and then ran to the opening night party really quickly. But Bebe Neuwirth stayed and talked to everyone and took pictures and was extremely nice.

This is a relatively boring story, I guess, but since it just happened I was pretty excited.

One of the highlights of being at the door -- Jackie Hoffman plays the grandmother and after she signed a lot of autographs she was standing in the middle of the crowd holding up some flyers for the one-woman show she's doing on Monday nights during the Addams Family run. So she starts yelling : "I'm doing a show. Any gays here? Any gay men here? Any Jews here? Come to my show! This is for you." She's such a riot.
Same with me on the 29 of nov
What was Nathan Lane like when you met him, because I've heard he can be a bit rude towards his fans sometimes, but then I've heard he's nice. I'm guessing he just has his moods. Just wondering, considering I'm quite a fan of him and most of the movies/shows he's been in.
worst: idina menzel stage door (concert in new york though, not a show) june 25th, 2008. the concert was amazing. i waited 3 hours in this insane crowd. i got to meet her, and i went to take a picture with her (which had been like my life's goal since i was 8! lol.), and the someone in the crowd banged into the camera and it fell to the ground and broke. =/

funnest: guys and dolls stage door this summer. meeting lauren graham. it was so funny. she said she wasnt allowed to stop to take a picture but if i "take one while shes casually standing here with a big happy smile on her face, that would be okay". haha! i love her. lol.

craziest: 13 stage door, two days before closing. there were SOOOO many people there!! it had a crazy crowd!! lol. there were like people yelling at us, and it was just.... crazy. lol. crazy, but FUN!

at the spring awakening stage door, someone asked to borrow my pen, and then i never got it back. ='[ lol.

at the wedding singer stage door, it was pouring rain, but i stayed out there anyway.

most embarrassing: grease revival stage door. right when max and laura came out, i tried to get up closer, and tripped right over the gate/fence thingie. that was terrible. lol.

coolest: at the 9 to 5 stage door, sebastian arcules was came out with stephanie. that was pretty cool! =]

there are others too, but that's all i can remember right now. lol.
I met Carmen Cusack at the stagedoor for the Wicked tour! It was awesome, but I missed Katie Rose Clarke and Clifton Hall by like two seconds, I saw them driving away.

And I met Laura Bell Bundy at the stage door when she subbed on the tour! I was freakin the hell out! It was me and like 5 other people and that was it! No one was smart enough to bring a marker so she used mine the whole time! I also saw Lauren Zakrin and Rhiannon Hanson. It was ahhhmazinggg
When I went to see RENT on August 31 at the Nederlander the cast was pretty nice but Eden Espinosa seemed pretty rude. She didn't say a word when I asked for a picture with her. She just nodded her head. And when I thanked her she ignored me.

The Hair cast, on the other hand was EXTREMELY friendly. They actually take time to talk to you and everything. They're so genuine and nice. When I asked Gavin Creel for a pic with him he was so nice about it and when he saw I was gonna take the picture by myself he took my camera and said he would take the pic for me cuz he has really long arms lol. Then he wanted to take another one cuz he didn't like how it looked. It's just little things they do to show they really care. :)
I saw Finian's Rainbow the day after my birthday with my friend and at the stage door I was talking to Cheynne and said "We're theater students, we love you, I came to see this for my birthday...." and he cuts me off, says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" and throws his arms around me. and then he says, "So where do you guys go to school? Are you musical theater students?"
I said "I am. She's not"
And he says "Oh, you're a DRAAAAAMAAAAAATICCCCCC actor?"

He's so funny. And a ridiculously nice guy.

Also I met Kate Baldwin at her CD signing, she is SUCH a sweetheart.
She talked to us forever about being theater students, and loving the show (and her!)
I adore her.
at hair's stagedoor peeple wanted to take pics with the stars and many of them didnt have time but those stars still took pics with this one guy...i started talking to him..he actually starred in one of the Hair productions that were quickly opening around the world in the late 60s wen the bway production cam out...it was sooo cool..he was from the australian one
Worst: Oh gosh...I don't know if I have a worst! I think the worst thing that's happened to me is just missing people I wanted to meet at the stage door.

Funnest: My funnest (favorite) stage door experience was when I saw [title of show]. My friend and I were talking to Susan, and we told her that we had flown up to NYC just to see the show, and we were going to leave for home right after we were done at the stage door. She was like "wait, this is your first Broadway show? SHUT THE F*CK UP!". I nearly died, lol.

Boring: Probably every time I've seen Jersey Boys. Nothing exciting happened, but nothing bad happened either.

Crazy: 2009 Rent tour. No contest. I've never seen such f*cking insane fans in my life. People screaming and shoving and taking pictures like crazy. It made me never want to go to a stage door again.
