Wicked Tour
Hey,
I was wondering who all is going to see Wicked when it comes to your town? My aunt bought tickets for my mom, herself & me this past sunday for when they come here in July. I'm sooo excited!
One of my friends accidently told me the ending, even though i havent seen it. All I remember is her asking me if I think "so & so" should have died in the end...I don't remember who she said but since its based on "The Wizard of Oz", i was pretty sure atleast 1 person was going to die (Wicked witch of the west).
How different is it from the Oz we all know & love? Is Dorthey, Toto, Scarecrow, Tin man, Cowardly Lion, or OZ himself in the play??

i saw it. it was amazing. the story is really based of glinda and the wicked witch elphaba. really if you want to learn more about it go to wikipedia and it has a whole synopsis. it is a very clever show and twists things very well so pay attention. the simplest line can mean so much in this musical!

My mom, myself and a friend who was Glinda to my Elphie foe Hallowen are going. Center stage row seven. Though with Gammage all seats are good; grand tier included.

Wicked takes place before the original Wizard of Oz, don't ask too much, trust me, it's the element of surprise that makes this such a great show. All I can say is all the questions that you ever had about Glenda the Good Witch and Elphaba (Wicked Witch - Green), will all be answered in Wicked, lots of surprises. As far as the initial characters Tinman, Scarecrow, Lion, you'll hear their stories. Dorothy & Toto, you'll find out. It is an amazing show, the music is fantastic, scenaries are amazing to say the least. In any case, don't ask just see, you will LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
