i'm soooo looking forward to the addams family! i've heard good things, and not so good things, so i'm excited to form my own opinion. i also really want to see spiderman, but who knows if that will even happen. others i can't wait for include la cage aux folles, promises promises, a little night music, and a view from the bridge.

La Cage and Addams Family. If I ever go to NYC while they're around, that is.
I second Catch Me if You Can! I've only seen a couple videos on Youtube, but I'm already obsessed :)
I don't know if I'm looking forward to La Cage. We just had a revival, and Kelsey Grammar is going to play Georges. It's one of my favorite shows and I just don't want to see it done wrong.

I'm hopeful for The Addams Family, even though I'm not a fan of Andrew Lippa.

I'm really looking forward to seeing A Little Night Music and Ragtime (which is weird for me, since I saw the original). I'm also incredibly excited for Enter Laughing, which I saw three times off-Broadway, and can't wait to see it in a new bigger production!
I'm really looking forward to the revival of A View From The Bridge. I'll have to wait until the end of January, but that's not too far away.
I would love to see Addams Family while it's in Chicago. My only worry is that the show will gravitate more toward the movie and not the original black and white series. Now don't get me wrong I like the movies but the original series had this charm about it that made the show smart and funny while the movies went more towards the darker side. Watch the original series and you'll see what I mean.
From what I've heard, they take inspiration wherever they can, but the main source are the original cartoons that the TV series was based on.
Addams Family! i wasn't so sure about it in the beginning but it has such a great cast! im excited to see how they change CMIYC because i didn't think it was the best when i saw it in seattle.... some good moments but the whole thing just didn't work
I agree. It was extremely entertaining and Nathan Lane was fantastic (as was the actress that played Wednesday, whose name escapes me), but the actual plot was very thin.
Whenever Merry Go Round happens, I will want to see it. One of my directors choreographed it. I think it would be amazing to see that work in action :)
I can't wait for the monstrosity that will be Spiderman. Maybe it's mean, but I just get a happy feeling inside thinking about how producers are going to lose 40 million dollars. In the words of my favorite Broadway book, Not Sense Carrie!!!
I feel this way about the Phantom sequel. I just want to see how bad it turns out, because judging by what I've heard about it's plot . . . it's preeety bad.
I am hoping to go to NYC in March but my trip may end up getting postponed due to financial issues but I sincerley hoping my plans will end up working out.

I am hoping to go see either Billy Elliot or A Little Night Music and look forward to seeing either show.
