The #1 place for people who love Broadway.

Hey, this is kind of on an unrelated note. Has anyone seen the youtube online television show "The Battery's Down"? It stars Jake Wilson as an aspiring young actor trying to make it in New York City. The show often features famous broadway stars such as Matthew Morrison, John Tartaglia and Ann Harada. It's a really great show, I'm pretty addicted to it. The Battery's Down has at least two songs a show, and I really enjoy it. Search it on youtube, trust me it will be worth your while!

I have friends who go to NyU who are so addicted to that show. I have never seen any episodes of it but I guess it's supposed to be really good.

I absolutely ADORE that show!! I think Season 1 was better than season two is turning out to be, because it followed more of the initial plot of him trying to find a show. I would have loved to see more of Roller Coast Highway though!

Have you seen Aaron Simon Gross's column about this? Click on his picture and look at his archived columns - he and his friends were on the show. Enjoy!

I know! Although it would be cooler if they were more than just random dancers in the background. I think it would have been funny if Lucy and that girl who sang the song had a sing-off because Lucy wants it to be all about HER. I think that would have beeen kinda cool.

well season two just has more of a plot that's trying to develop over a couple episodes instead of just one. I like both of the seasons, but I'm obsessed with the Roller Coaster Highway and Speeding Till Tomorrow songs. ask anyone, i've like EVER done a show with i'm always singing the batterys down. :D

Ah! I know right!! I got them on my Ipod (Thank you illegal youtube downloading sites!) cause they're not out on Itunes yet and have been listening to them every second! I swear, if Roller Coaster Highway were a real show I would go see it in a second! I even contemplated trying to write the rest of the show myself but I was afraid with my lack of skill I would ruin it =P

yay, i'm not the only one who does that! :D

I definitely enjoyed the first season more than the 2nd. I kind of feel like the newer episodes are straying away from the original purpose, and there are so many plots that it's hard to understand what's going on. I did really like the "Rollercoaster Highway" opening number though.
