Have you ever had a run in with rude theatre goers. It can be on here or anywhere.
Share your stories.

My story is on here there is a girl who say she can't exactly "tolerate" homosexuals. So I cammented on here page and said basically that that was not cool and it was disrespectful and a good percentage of the theatre community is homosexuals.
Then she comments back on my page and call me a homosexual and I should enjoy my wife. I found that uncalled for. One your on broadwayspace it's not cool so many people you can offend by saying that. Two you don't go around calling people gay. Three on 13fans she called a guy a fag because he didn't agree with her ( I stood up for the guy then she called me a fag too... hmm) . She needs to get a new hobby broadway isn't for her.

Tell me your stories people!

SO tell me your storys

I'm pretty sure I know who you're talking about. (Actually, probably most people know too!) Good for you for standing up for standing up for someone! It would be nice if some people would just realize that they can't make everyone agree with them. Because this is the nicest forum I've ever seen, and I'd hate to see that ruined.
I'm not trying to bash peple i'm telling my story. Yes people kicking your seat would count as a rude theatre goer.
Grr, and he said how it wasn't his first show. You'd think he'd learn to be less obnoxious. And his mom was stretching her leg or something...my Mom turned to her in the middle of the first act and was like, "What are you doing?!". haha
A cell phone started playing "Brown Eyed Girl" when Moritz had the gun in his mouth at Spring Awakening. I wanted to punch them.
Actually, that's sorta funny. I mean, obnoxious, yes, but I can picture it, lol. "So dark...so dark...sha la la la la la..." haha

My ringtone is Totally ^%$#@! and I thought it would play at A Chorus Line so I made my Mom hold it in her purse, lol.
I was pissed at the time because it took a lot of people out of an intense moment in the show....the second time I saw the show a cell went off at the end of the first act...I don't know what it is about Spring Awakening... haha.
The first time i saw the revival of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? a cell phone went off right before Kathleen Turner said the last line of the play. You guys who know the play know what an amazing moment that is, and we were all right there with her and ready for it... and then a god-damned cell phone!
Ughhhh! Shut off your cell phones!

I love Spring Awakening so muchhh! Im listening to "Word of Your Body (Reprise)" righht now! And I love you pic withh Matt Doyle! He is amazinnnnnng! And i am happy to report that when i saw it there were know ringing cell phones!
Oh I adore Matt Doyle. Sweetest thing with the most AMAZING voice... I can't wait to see what else he does with his career. I saw him as Otto, Hanschen, and Melchior and he rocked all 3 roles.
Yeahh. Ive only seen him as Hanschen and he was sooooo amazing! and now hes playing Melchior in Toronto and i wanna go sooooo badly but i doubt i will be able tooo.= (
He will be on the new broadway Revival opf Bye Bye Birdie
People texting during a show. Words can't express how much I wanted to hurt them when I saw it. It wasn't during a professional show, so there weren't any ushers or anyone to do something about it. But the glare from the repeated opening & reopening of the phone was very distracting, and I said something about it to the person (who happened to be a friend of mine, actually) during intermission. I just can't take people being disrespectful like that.

*Also, people who push and shove at stage doors. I mean, I know we all want to meet & greet the performers/tech, but seriously? It's not polite. =)

Aaaaand I took a peek at your page, and was totally surprised (not) to see who you're speaking about. Don't let it bother you. That user is nothing more than a troll, but since it's practically impossible to contact a higher power at Bwayspace, there's little we can do but ignore her. The good news: 99.99% of the others here are super friendly (and non-homophobic)!
