Passing Strange, Anyone Seen it? What's your Opinions on it?

I was fortunate enough to be one of the few people at the Passing Strange Movie Documentary premier at the SXSW film festival in austin the other night. The musical Passing Strange was filmed by Spike Lee (who i also saw at the event.)

Now i had never SEEN the play before, but after watching the movie recording of it, I became obsessed. The musical has a little bit of everything. I Just wanted to know what you guys think of it?

I love Passing Strange. It was my favorite musical of 2008. Saw it 2 times on Broadway, which is a lot because it didn’t last long, unfortunately. Can’t wait to see the movie!

Ugh. im so jealous! I could have loved to see it on BWAY. Actually, I would love to have gone to New York period seeing as ive never gone. But it is a real treat. The amount of creativity that's in this musical is amazing. Its the second musical to make me cry. (first being in the heights)
