There are many great shows that start off-broadway or don't even make it to Broadway but are great anyway. Comment on what off-broadway shows you think should've made it to Broadway!

Lippa's The Wild Party
See What I Wanna See
and
BKLYN: The Musical (very campy, but the music for the most part was... yeah, also campy.)
Wasn't BKLYN on Broadway?

Also See What I Wanna See would never have worked in a Broadway house, it's such an intimate show that I think it would have lost a lot of its magic if it played on Broadway, even if it was in one of the tiny houses like the Booth or the Hayes.

And to answer the question, I'm hoping for the Yank! transfer to be official for this season, I think if it goes into one of the smaller Broadway houses it'll work beautifully.
I don't think BKL ever played off-Broadway. It opened on Broadway back in 2004 or something like that. And it was terrible. Amazingly talented cast, but the show itself was an embarrassment.

There are a handful off transfers that I'm very excited for and hope that they come through. Yank! and Enter Laughing (both from the York Theatre), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and The Scottsboro Boys. I think if all of those transfer, we'll have the strongest Broadway season we've seen in a long while.
Pardon my typo... BKLN.
I'm so excited for The Scottsboro Boys and Bloody Bloody...I missed both when they were off Broadway unfortunately so I'm hoping I get the chance to actually see them.
I missed all of them except for Enter Laughing, which I saw three times. I'll go see it three more times on Broadway.
i Wish [title of show] had lasted longer on the broadway....

i know it probably woulnn't work in a broadway house but i would love to see Last 5 years on Broadway someday... maybe...
i can actually see last 5 years playing the circle in the square. thoughts?
Gutenberg the musical, although it is very off-Broadway type. It is only a two man show.
TICK TICK BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bare

Though very excuted for Yank and Bloody Bloody
Personally I think Zanna Don't should've made it on Broadway along with The Baker's Wife, all of the shows you guys said should've made it on Broadway also and I'm excited for Bloody Bloody to get on Broadway.
