So I know there are discussions similar to this one, but not completely the same.

So today I had to go to school (just me) and turn in some paperwork for being yearbook editor or whatever. And they were filming "glee" there! And I knew the lady in charge and she let me stay on the set and Amber Riley (Mercedes) waved at me and Chris Colfer (Kurt) gave me a hug! And it made my LIFE!!! =D haha

So I was just wondering what other great stories people have to tell about meeting celebrities. Soooo.... yah! =D

p.s. i know this is a broadway website but i just had an amazing experience and i'm on an adrenaline rush and i'm probably not thinking straight =P hahaha

I met Garth Brooks when I was in 5th grade, I think it was... He was doing spring training with the Diamond Backs (baseball team) and was signing autographs... My mom pulled me from school two days in a row to try and meet him. And I did. :) He signed a baseball and an album book from a boxed set of all his albums (that I'm missing some and am SO sad...)

But I've never seen him in concert. I fell asleep even before he came out when I was 6 or so. And I WAS going to see him in Vegas for my 21st (as well as gamble and drink haha) but I'll be in school... and seeing Hair.

My parents met Alice Cooper... We restore classic Mustangs and since he lives locally, came in.
You restore classic Mustangs? My dad just restored a '65 convertible
I saw Larry King in a deli in LA...
but, as I've said before, I was brought backstage at Billy Elliot and I about died.
Lea Salonga. I watched CATS here in Manila and I had some connections (we have 58 common friends in Facebook... but we're not friends.. yet) and got to stagedoor! :> Lea went to my mom's house. :|

Oh and Julie Andrews went to Disneyland and I saw her! She waved at me. :">

Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo. The First Lady of Philippine Musical Theater. Met her in Repertory Philippines. She knows me now. :">
Parker Posey came into my store yesterday. She wasn't at my register, but the one next to me, and she was really nice. We've also has Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gilbert Gottfried, John Cullum (who i've chatted with a few times, also very nice).

I met Jackie Mason in a Wendy's one night, and found out from friends that they've seen him in other fast-food places... go fig!
what store is this?
Trader Joe's. We get a lot of celebrities.
My cousin goes to church with someone who is in our local symphony and he's constantly getting us tickets to stuff and taking us backstage to meet people. Most of the time it's not that exciting but last year we got to meet Kristin Chenoweth. That was really cool. She's just as nice in person as you would think she is.
Omg! You saw them?!? And Chris gave you a hug?? Lucky! That is so amazing tho! Hmmmm these arn't broadway people but there still famous!

My friend was filming a movie, "The Christmas Bunny" (she is the lead, everyone go and see it!) and Florence Henderson was in it!! I got to like hang out with her for the whole day and shake her hand!! woah!!!

And then David Archuleta was on tour where I live, he came to my church and like sang a song, and we got to like give him hugs and stuff! really awesome!
OMG DAVID ARCHULETA! I LOVEEEE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!! luckyyyyyy =D
