Great musical theater programs for colleges?

Those are both really good theatre schools, though I don't think you can minor in the program for either of them. I'm more certain about Steinhardt. Since NYU has different schools for different concentrations, you have to be accepted into the school itself, so you can't be majoring in something else while minoring over at Steinhardt.

I went to Marymount Manhattan College, which has a terrific theatre program. But the only person I know who had a major other than theatre with his musical theatre minor was someone who changed majors midstream and was allowed to keep the minor he had. You can inquire, but I'm fairly certain you cannot come in with a musical theatre minor and a major that's not theatre.

It's in Chicago, but Columbia College Chicago. It's definitely an arts school though. Carnegie Mellon as well. That's in Pittsburgh.

I do not really know a lot about theatre programs at colleges but I worked with a bunch of people at a theatre two summers ago who went to school NYU both Steinhardt and Tisch Schools and they said they had good experiences there. A few of my friends went to Syracuse and they had good experiences and one of them is currently in an off-broadway show. I also had three friends from high school who went to Marymount Manhattan

David do you know Nate Atkinson Mark Hodgman or Levi Morger by any chance?
