I'm updating my I-pod and want to add some newer Broadway songs. I'm used to the older ones like Sound of Music, The King and I, and Fiddler on the Roof, but I need some new musicals. Also if they could be younger people appropriate. Thank you!

There's a Snoopy the Musical? or is that just YAGMCB?
Snoopy was written a few years after by Larry Grossman and Hal Hackady.

The opening number from this year's Marymount Manhattan College senior showcase (all Larry Grossman music) was from Snoopy:
Thank you for the info and link! Haha I can always count on you for MT info :D
Snoopy the musical is the sequel to YAGMCB, and they added in Peppermint Patty. It's really good.
All of Sutton Fosters shows!!
Bklyn the musical maybe idk i havent heard a lot of the songs
Once on this island!!!!! defintely.
Brooklyn was an incredibly weak show with some incredibly amazing performances. It lasted as long as it did on the power of the performers, but the plot was thin and contrived, the lyrics with embarrassing and the music all sounded exactly the same
Hi,

Check out the MTI pages for lists of lots of fun new musicals - they also have junior version of musicals such as Rent that are age appropriate! http://mtiblog.mtishows.com/

But personally I think Hairspray is wonderful!
The Secret Garden has great music! Also Into the Woods is one of the greatest Musicals ever, with amazing songs.
