Because the show was a flop and was reported (by most accounts) to be nowhere near as funny as the original movie, the one-liner "I only laughed once" is apropos of the audience's experience, as well.

It's a raucous comedy, and it's also one of the scariest shows I've ever seen. I cried at the end of the show (both times!) even though I laughed my ass off through everything that came before.

i bet I have more, but too worried about more important things to list them. My cousin said there used to be a song about malcoms pee line and she said it was disturbing .lol
