I didn't like it..there were so many contanuity issues..i mean i ENJOYED it but it wasn't all that great..they didn't have one complete dance number...and they mostly focused on the high school musical couple other than the rest of the characters...

I was talking to someone today who said the only people who enjoy the remake are teenage girls. I haven't seen it, yet... I'll probably wait til it's out on netflix.

Question, though, I saw a trailer for it, and from the looks of it, it seems like my friend Paul (kid with the video camera) has a pretty big part, and I initially thought he had a rather small part. But the trailer made him seem more important. How much does he do?

His role isn't as big as the singing kid, but he still had quite a large portion. He did an excellent job!

I enjoyed it, but I don't think it's a fabulous movie. Good acting on the most part, but is way too Hollywood for real performing arts school. I thought the original was truer to what performing arts schools are really like.

Oh my gosh, I LOVED it!!!!! The theater was completely empty when me and my friend got there, but like, two minutes before the start a freaking dance class filed in and filled like half the theater XD Which was great too, because they actually GOT the musical refrences in there....lol, Chicago. Yeah, it's a great movie, very much worth your money.

I saw it last saturday and it is my favorite movie musical now. Love everything about it. I was singing the theme song for days!!!

I heard the casting was bad and they cut out some songs from the original, is that true?

They didn't look the same. Their fashion and hairstyles were changing constantly. All the characters carried themselves differently through the course of the movie.

It was ok, i didnt love it i think that there are so many great shows and movie musicals out like Glee for example that Fame just didnt cut it for me.

I loved it :) My friends and I channeled the original and went in fluro dancegear, it was epic.

I can not possibly wait any longer to see it! Our thespian club was orginally going to go together the day it came out, but we were too busy with our musical to get out and do it.
