This is something that happened to me a few months ago, and I am now deciding to put it up as a discussion.

I was in school and walked into my English class, where a student not in my class was talking to the teacher.  Just as she was leaving, she turned to me and asked, "Are you in drama class?"  "Yes," I replied.  "Oh," she said, "because you dress very theatrically."

This leads me to ask, do you think actors (or anyone in show business) dress a certain way?

I suppose it would help if I tell you about how I dress.  My basic outfit would be something along the lines of khakis and a shirt, usually black or red.  I do differ some times; I never wear blue jeans, but I do own two pairs of black jeans and a pair of gray jeans.  I will sometimes where white and black with the gray jeans (usually a white shirt under black short sleeves, which is actually what I was wearing that day, if I recall correctly).  A majority of times I will wear all black, which is something I hear a lot of people in show business do.  Also, I never wear sweatpants or a sweatshirt.

I mean, I like to look nice, but I never really thought of myself as dressing theatrically.

What do you guys think?
