It looks like Annie is headed back to Broadway.  I'm not sure exactly how I feel about it.  I know it will be great for little kids and families to go to, but what I worry about is the schools.  Many schools and small childrens theatres put on this production each year.    If the show is back on Broadway will the rights be held until it leaves again?

That's a very good point about how Annie is performed in youth theatre every year. I actually worked on a production of Annie Jr in January and it was a blast. I would assume when it's on broadway the rights for it to be performed in community theatres will not be avaiable but i dont know how that works exactly.
