I think it's great 2 give kids who are not in NYC, or who don't have the means to see a broadway show the oppretunity to see a production so early on!!!

The musical is a little bit paper thin for me. I found it ironic when the major conflict in act two is that Elle can't break attorney/client privelege to reveal that her client was having liposuction on the night she supposedly murdered her husband. Then someone in the scene says "Elle, this isn't a Lifetime movie..." It sure sounded like one!

That being said, I am enjoying watching the MTV broadcast as a guilty pleasure, and find much sincere pleasure in the fact that I did not spend $80 to end up with the same opinion. I doubt that it would have been in the mix of shows I wanted to see when I'm in NYC next, but this dose of Legally Blonde has satisfied my curiosity for free (with limited commercial interruptions!)

To end this thread (haha 3 years ago) NO there are no talks or rumors of it coming to DVD and I don't see why MTV would release it now that it is so far past. Look for more information when the tour closes, maybe then they will be able to, but even then it has been a long time public interest is low.
