HAVE YOU EVER GOTTEN SOMEONE TO LIKE A MUSICAL???
Well i sorta have.. SO like, every few months or so.. i find a new musical and i am in love with it! lol. its all i talk about. so i finally discovered RENT and all i would do is talk about it non stop. (mainly to my friend Dee Dee.) so i finally MADE HER listen to "Today 4 U" from rent and she actualy liked it! i was surprised causes shes not a musical person. so its like one of her favorite songs now.
- She still thinks RENT is just about a bunch of homosexuals with diseases and drug addictions.. But if i could turn her onto it just a little bit.. I'm glad. =)
ANYONE ELSE HAVE A SIMLAR STORY OR SOMTHIN? =)

my friend and i wouldnt stop talking about legally blonde. so my friend went and saw her second broadway show (cats) since she was 5. she saw legally blonde and loved it but is still not obsessed:(

i'm working on converting my roomate, she saw Phantom over the summer and is gonna see Wicked around xmas... she can sing along to Rent now too!!

I got one of my friends to like RENT. I had liked it for a while before this, but on my birthday I convinced a couple of my friends to go see it with my me and even though she really did not want to see it she ended up liking it.

RENT
I was talking and talking about RENT and my friends were like "SHUT UP!"
Then one day I was watching it before my friends came over to sleepover. And when they came into the room I was watching Another Day and they were like "LETS WATCH IT!'
Now my friends Christine saw it with me 5 times =]]]]
And also we saw Spring Awakening for my B-day and we both LOVE it and know every word to the soundtrack.

I got my friend Amanda hooked on The Last 5 Years, and she got a bunch of HER friends in to it. So indirectly, I got all of her friends to be in love with the show :)

I got my friend into Spring Awakening, and she's totally obsessed with it!
but she's a musical person.
My best friend isn't though, and i got her into Les Miserables! well, she likes "the confrontation" a lot. But like you said, i got her into one song from a musical, so i am contempt.
My current obsession is Avenue Q :D

i made my cousin go see legally blonde the musical in NYC and at first she said she didnt want to go, but afterwards, she loved it! Now I've got her watching all kinds of musicals.

my mom, her best friend from highschool and her daughter, also my best friend, and i went to see wicked the summer after we graduated as a sorta mother-daughter senior trip thing. Wicked was totally my thing, i had begged and begged my mother to take me to see it and she finally caved, jenna, my friend, really wasn't thrilled but she knew how much i wanted to see it so she went along grudgingly; jenna pretty much hated musicals. So we went, and I was like out of my skin with excitement, and it was sorta rubbing off on jenna, i mean really who would get at least a little excited about her first broadway show which is what wicked was for her.Anyways, when the show was over ( way too fast lol) I looked neverously at jenna and asked"Well did you like it?" and she looks at me with a straight face, and says " no amanda I did not" and I was like "what!" and about to launch into all the reasons she should have liked it when she starts grinning and says "I loved it." xoxoxoxoxo
that's my story, we're going to see little mermaid on saturday, i'll make a broadway convert out of her yet lol
