have you ever performed in or seen a show, local, on broadway, or wherever, where there was an obvious mess-up on stage? i have several. for example, when i saw young frankenstein, Jon Patrick Walker, understudy for Dr. Frankenstein that i saw, when he came out for Tansylvania Mania, his mustache was gone. When act 2 began, the stache was back. *dramatic music*

When Wicked came to dallas, I went and saw it! In the scene where Glinda first comes to school, the understudy for Glinda was rolling on the stage on top of all the luggage, and the cart must of hit something because it stopped, but she fell off flat on her face. It was so funny because the music stopped and everyone turned and looked at her then they started the music back up again! HILARIOUS!!
When I saw Wicked in Cleveland, in Thank Goodness when Madame Morrible says "Finally a day that's totally Wicked Witch-free", Randy Danson dropped that line! There was just a long pause, and Chandra Lee Schwartz just kept going. I didn't like Randy very much at all.
oh, where do I start... Top of Act II of Wicked on Broadway, Rondi Reed had been in the show for a while as Morrible. Morrible has a singspeak verse where she tells her version of what happened when Glinda and Elphaba first met the wizard. She's up on the dais with Glinda (Alli Mauzey) and Fiyero (Kevin Kern), when she goes up on her song, and begins to totally improv. . She stayed on the beat (which made it even funnier), but the words were so bizarre, like a two year old speaking. Imagine a sort of overstressed iambic pentameter of "And so you met the Wizard..and he thought that you were great!" The whole cast is laughing, and Fiyero grabs Glinda from behind and just held on to her so tight because otherwise she was going to lose it. I could see Alli's whole body shaking trying not to laugh. When they all finally got off stage they just collapsed offstage in tears of laughter.
Haha so its not a "show", exactly, but a few weeks ago I played Friar Lawrence in Romeo and Juliet. In the scene taht I w as supposed to give Juliet the poison that would make her look dead, I forgot to bring the vial on. I just went along with it, and handed her nothing. It was pretty funny.
I saw a production of Little Shop of Horrors where the guy in the plant rolled out of it onstage! They stopped the show to make sure he was okay, but I could not stop laughing.
No one will believe this, but i recently saw A Little Night Music, and Angeal Lansbury messed up the the first few lines in the song Liasions, I was like OH CRAP!!! But I guess you gotta forgive her, she is like 70 or something
This luckily wasn't during a performance, but during a production of Gypsy I was in, we were rehearsing the strip tease with Gypsy Rose's costumes (for her to practice the changes). Her second dress was secured by Velcro in the back... but not well enough. As she is walking her dress rips from the back and almost completely falls off of her, and to top it off she wasn't wearing a bra for that dress. She was so embarrassed but she recovered from it very well.

I had one mess up of my own during our production of Guys and Dolls. I was a hot box girl for two nights, so I didn't have much rehearsal with costumes like the other girls did. On opening night, my tear away dress wouldn't come off during Take Back Your Mink, until i finally ripped most of it off and stepped out of it.

I have yet to see a mistake in a live Broadway show but maybe one day I will
my bestie was in Gypsy and somebody pulled a prank on her and took the shoelaces out of her tap shoes. she had to do her baby june tap solo in jazz shoes... it was pretty obvious that something was wrong, although she did a good job of pretending it was supposed to happen.
when i did cats some one fell of the set and broke their leg preety intense lol

i did les mis school edition when cosette went to the toilet with her mic still turned on i think during ephonies death scene and all anyone could hear was peeing lmao it was hilarious though

I was in a show were the directer was also a cast member and in the finale scene we sing love changes every thing from aspects of love, it starts with a solo from the director then we all gather on stage but just as we were about to our director collapsed all i could hear was a bang. the curtains were closed immeadiatly and everyone was crying, the audience of corse thought it was part of the show and started clapping.

In another show i was in one of the singers mics wasn't turned on and the MALE director had to sneek in behind her and go under he dress to fix her mic while she was singing away preetty funny also
i saw chess and the guy who played freddi voice crackedin the middle of pity the child 2 . then one giel in the chorus fell and brought almost everyone down with her i felt so bad.
Dear edwina: The girl that played suzie mumred half of the lyrics in Say no thank you, because she forgot the lines

Greenwich the musical(town musical)- During the scence with the farmers, the tech was way to early with the stage drop pictures, and during the orginic line.. i picture of a cow came up, and the farmer messed up lines.

During the rap number, me and my friends were doing the cherography and we were surposed to drop and roll on the stage, and we dropped too fast, and bruised up are knees big time.

Annie- the annie said "when im stuck with a day thats gay and lonely" during tomorrow
the ophrans during "its a hrad knock life reprise, said " gonna get our knuckles raped"
drake, rooster, annie, all didnt come out on stage on cue
Annie forgot a costume change and mr.warbucks, forgot to put on his bald cap
my school just finished our production of "curtains" and during one of our last performances during he did it, 4 other people and i were behind sheets hung on a fly so we could peak through when bobbyand georgia talk to eachother. so when bobby went through my sheet half of it fell but no big deal until we did the next part of the song which entailed us to walk infront of our sheets then go back to our original positions. when i was going back we noticed that me entire sheet was on the ground and half of the next sheet (i was on the end) fell too. it was that big of a deal but when you're not prepared it kinda freaks you out but i ended but laughing about it a few minutes later
