The #1 place for people who love Broadway.

I would really like to see Cry Baby when I'm in New York soon, but I'm wondering if it's apropriate for little kids? It seems like the music is really fun and upbeat, but what would be the minimum age do you think that would be allowed to go see this.
Thanks a bunch!

Well there's a few things that might be worrisome for kids:
-In one of the scenes there's a good chance you'll get flashed by some of the male dancers. But the lights are dim and it's going on in the background
-In another scene, three or four female cast members run across the stage naked, but covering themselves with pom poms.
-One song is called "Watch Your Ass"
-Another song is called "Girl Can I Kiss You With Tongue?", which is pretty self-explanatory.
-There's a bunch of innuendos and vulgarities but they'll probably go right over kids' heads.

I'd say it's fine for 8 and up.

Ive wondered about this as well- You can probably find some reviews of cry baby online, thats what i do, just search google or something. But mind you, they are critic reviews, so you cant always trust them
