I think there already may have been a discussion like this....but without further ado, what would be your dream role in a musical and why?

Hmm I've got four of them:

Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre from 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee because she's a lot like me, only I don't have the whole two dads thing, but still...
Ado Annie- Another character who's a lot like me
Mimi- The first time I saw Rent onstage, I was not prepared for the fact that "Without You" and "Goodbye Love" would make me bawl like a little baby...Her songs are beautiful and I can definitely relate to her character
The baker's wife or Cinderella- Into the Woods- Cinderella reminds me of me and the baker's wife is longing for an adventure and she's something...
I want to play the role of Jack from Into the Woods
My dream roles:

Mrs. Lovett - Sweeney Todd
Evita - Evita
Reno Sweeney - Anything Goes
Mimi - Rent
Elphaba - Wicked
Ado Annie - Oklahoma!
Fantine - Les Miserables
Audrey - Little Shop of Horrors
Christine in Phantom... if I could sing it! =P

Non-Musical:

Nina - The Sea Gull
Abigail - The Crucible
Emily - Our Town
Jill - Equus
Blanche or Stella - A Streetcar Named Desire
Juliet - Romeo and Juliet
Viola - Twelfth Night
I (even though a boy) think it would be fantastic and halarious if i were to play Mrs Hanagen in Annie... could you think of how funny it would be if Mrs Hanagen were a drag queen?!
I have three: Enjolras (Les Miserables)
Sweeney (Sweeney Todd)
Mark (RENT)
I'm getting older now. I would LOVE to play Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd. It would be so much fun and the score is so rich. That would be cool.
connie in a chorus line, maureen in rent, martha in spring awakening, eponine in les mis, velma kelly in chicago, penny in hairspray, elphaba in wicked, rizzo in grease, meg giry in phantom, serena in legally blonde, lefou in beauty and the beast and many more!
My ultimate dream role would be Elphaba in Wicked! I'm just in love with that character and the show. Loved the book too (I can't even watch The Wizard of Oz now because it ticks me off!).

I also would love to play Rizzo in Grease, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, and Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street.
THERE r a LOT but proby ethier something really me like leagally blonde or wild and crazy or something opistie like mean but not sad it is not very fun i have done it and i was Eeyore
Hmmm...there are quite a few I'd love to get:

Scarlet Pimpernel
The Phantom
Marius (Les Mis)
Valjean (Les Mis)
Don Quixote (Man Of La Mancha)

Marius is the only one I could likely even get, though, as I'm too young for the others. :-\ Maybe one day...
Mine would definately be elle in legally blonde. Not only awesome music, songs, clothes, and dancing but also Christian borle and richard blake. What else could a girl ask for?
I love so many shows and so many roles, but there is one that I would do ANYTHING to get - Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera. That show is by far my favorite. I love each character and the story and the music...and getting to play the woman who gets to display such emotion and talent, and get stolen down to the Phantom's lair ; ), would be so unbelievable that I can't even describe it.
A close second would be Maria in West Side Story.
I guess I just really like the emotional roles. They're so deep and, in a way, through getting to know the character, they allow you to get to know yourself better.
